My Green House Design

-passive solar design
-siding/roof is temperature sensitive color change; gets dark in the cold and light in the heat.
-south slope of roof has solar water heater (cheap to build)
$-south slope of roof has flexible solar cells [link] 20 units x 20 W = 400W ($600ea)
-north part of roof is flat garden roof with bio-engineered air purifying shrubs[link] and/or hydroponic sweet potatoe farm using harvested rainwater
-convertable roof; flat part of roof has an A frame that can have a fabric pulled over it to keep out sun & insects & create an additional summer room.
-hybrid lighting; uses optical fibers to pipe light from outside to inside.
-laundry room is upstairs with a large opening window to a cloths line outside.
-solar cell windows [link]
-a wind turbine on each corner of property, perhaps 4 of these [link] @ 800W x4 = 3200W
-Net-meter; allows me to get credit for supplying electricity onto the grid
-power windows and fans to minimize the requirement for A/C
-geothermal heat pump and air conditioning system
-outside air drawn into furnace is pre-heated using this method
-wood pellet or corn furnace
-Southern Yellow pine link
-efficient design link

-one of these in the driveway [link] or [link]
