it arrived today
so i played with it, surprizingly the DLink DWL122 USB WiFi dongle i plugged into it worked seamlessly on the first attempt, yes it's a Microsoft product, I couldn't believe it either.
without loging in i can get to the web page of my home router; it has a link to http://www.dlink.com/ i click it and off i go...darn their search won't redirect me offsite
i tried hacking via the ip address of your home router; has to be in your local subnet
proxy server however does not
i set it to www.google.com and port 80 and sure enuf, google came up when i asked it to display my router setup page.
google won't proxy any of the links but it's a start
need a browser portal; the psp one i know of was shut down
or a local proxy server....hmmm
Ok installed a web server on my main pc;
set the home page to a redirection url to google.com
i can now go into setup, router config, 192.168.0.99 (the ip of my main pc) and i get directed to google, all redirects work correctly.
neeeet; youTube videos run really smoothly on an msntv box.
i have no Serial (12v) to TTL (3.3v) adaptor; i'll look arround at work for a cell phone serial cable
Cell Phone Serial cables: 12-3.3v
The Siemens S/C25, S/C/M35 and S/SL/ME/M45 see
The cable should be powered from the DSub-side (PC/Terminal). The pins which are used are 1 (GND), 5(TX), 6(RX). The Siemens-Handy-connector is shown at http://www.hardwarebook.net/connector/cellular/siemens_c25_s25.html
Nokia DLR-3(P), DAU-9(P) or DAU-05 data cable. Just cut off connector and wire RED to J2 pin 1 (+3.3V), GREEN to J2 pin 2 (RXD), GRAY to J2 pin 3 (TXD) and BLACK+SHIELD to J2 pin 4 (GND). Since this cable is normally powered by phone you need to connect J2 pin 1.

alright got the strings to flash the bios
flashed the first bios
then read that i needed to patch the bios for stage2
so i patched the bios
and flashed the bios
then i read that i needed to patch the kernel to support frame buffer video....
and i forgot to move the boot image to sda3 partition....
i think i patched the video correctly
i can't move the .img file to the 3rd partition cuz the partition and image r the same size
maybe i have to extract the files to the partition
tried in windows, can't mount a ext3 partition, can't format the partition cuz it's not active
