Flash block - 133a or FlashBlock 1.5
AdBlock - blocks bandwidth leeching advertizing, use filterset G
NoScript - blocks scripts from running until you allow them
SpoofStick - easily see if you are at a phishing site. NOT1.5!
Automarks - Auto complete your address line, FF v1.5 only version
SessionSaver - restores all the tabs that were open when you last shut down firefox
AutoForm OR AutoFill - automatically fill in forms. NOT1.5!

Advanced users:

This - makes old extentions work with FireFox 1.5

1. At location bar, enter: about:config This will show you a list of Firefox internal preferences.
2. Right click on the list, select New > String
3. At preference name enter "app.extensions.version" (without quotes).
4. Then, enter "1.0" (without quotes) as the value for app.extensions.version
5. Restart Firefox 1.5, then enable those disabled Firefox extensions.
6. Restart Firefox 1.5 again to active the extensions. Done.
