2000 Mazda MPV transmission failure
-tech said the cooler usually gets hit by a flying rock and the tranny fluid all leaks out
-cost to fix; almost $3000!
-Insurance Co. says covered under comprehensive, sending out adjuster...
-4Mar Found out my policy includes a replacement rental vehicle; they're so forthcoming with the information. I'd rather wait and see if it's really covered than pay the rental out of pocket.

Alternative;
Asked the Insurance Co. if they will buy out the old van...Yes they will
