Pop bottle Island

The "Spiral Rainbow Island" created by Richie Sowa is an island is anchored off the coast of Mexico, close to Cancun. The island is made from over 250,000 recycled plastic bottles, packed into netting.

Idea: create a series of floating islands like these but much larger between Japan and the mainland where they will be sheltered from ocean storms by Japan. These would be floating golf courses, which the Japanese business men are fond of but tend to be extremely expensive due to the lack of space in Japan.
